A great big chopper, much less massive in person, it fits nicely in the hand.

This is a fairly stout blade with very little distal taper. It is mounted in brass (which I don't use much anymore) with a through tang construction. The owner uses it as his EDC (Every Day Carry) and chore knife. I get to visit it from time to time and it has taken this lovely hand patina to the antler and a wear surface on the blade.
